Mothlit is a friendly tracker for TV shows and movies. It remembers what you watched, tells you what episode to watch next, keeps a calendar of release dates, and lets you rate and share shows in a clean, ad-free space.

We are in active beta, which means we are still tidying up rough edges. Some screens might act a bit weird or change as we finish the app. If you run into a bug or something feels confusing, join our Discord and let us know!

No. The web app has every feature and works in your browser. Native iOS and Android apps are in the works for home-screen widgets and push notifications.

Absolutely. The whole catalog is public. Every show and movie has its own page with ratings, seasons, cast lists, and where to stream. You only need to sign up when you are ready to start tracking your history.

Yes! You can request your data export directly from TV Time and import it here. We will rebuild your list of followed shows, show statuses, favorites, ratings, watched episodes (including rewatch counts), and movies. The only things the TV Time export does not contain are individual episode ratings and reactions, so we can't bring those over, but everything else will be waiting for you.

Yes. Your watch history is private by default and never sold or used for ad targeting. You choose whether to have a public profile. See our Privacy Policy.

Of course. You can download your tracking history or permanently delete your account and all your data directly from your settings: no hoops to jump through and no emails required.

It looks at the next unwatched episode for each show you follow and puts them in a queue, showing season premieres and finales first. If you haven't watched a show in a while, it gently tucks it away onto a separate shelf to keep your main queue clean.

Your top picks are calculated using a simple, transparent genre-overlap score based on your favorites and watch history, rather than a mysterious black-box algorithm. Favorites carry the most weight, ratings and recency adjust the score, and anything you have already watched or tracked is automatically filtered out.

English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian, and German. Both the interface and the show titles will adapt to whichever language you choose.

Yes! Mothlit is designed offline-first. Your pages load instantly from a secure local cache and refresh in the background, meaning it stays snappy even on flaky Wi-Fi.
